Manufacturing - Seam Welding
Seam welding is a simple and cost-effective method of joining plasticised material quickly and with a high level of relative strength.
Versapak employ high-frequency seam welding on a great deal of the products in our selection, for one purpose or another: this process allows us to achieve a pleasing ridged aesthetic along with a degree of water resistance, so its uses are very versatile. Its most applicable uses for our products include the fastening of handles, patches, and windows, as well as the secure joining of seams.
While seam welding doesn’t quite achieve the level of strength that can be attained through double stitching, it is an incredibly quick process - we operate six ultrasonic welding workstations which are capable of 24-hour running and regularly produce 5000-8000 bags per week.
All seam welding takes place in our European factory and is carried out to the highest standard by our dedicated team.
