Manufacturing - Injection Moulding

Injection moulding is a manufacturing process used in the production of many household plastic items, including iPhone cases, TV remotes, storage containers, and in Versapak’s case, seals and certain bag components.
Almost all of Versapak’s products incorporate injection moulded plastic parts, which are themselves manufactured in-house. In order to create parts perfectly suited for their intended purposes, we use the most relevant raw materials in accordance with the item moulded.

As with many of our manufacturing processes, Versapak run three shifts on injection moulding, which gives us the capacity to manufacture over 500,000,000 plastic parts per year. We have excellent capabilities which allow us to make any molded plastic parts, and we use robots to speed up the process with automated handling.

We are well known for our plastic security seals, many of which are manufactured in this way: our button seals, arrow seals and T-shaped seals are all injection moulded in their various forms and colours. Some of our newer products, such as the VersaBolt barrier seal, are made of a combination of polymers, and certain items also have metal parts for increased strength. Most larger bags also feature injection moulded plastic parts such as buckles, clips, handles, and securing clips.

Other available plastics include HDPE, HIPS, GPPS, Pentamid, Kocetal, and several polythene resins and copolymers.

With four decades’ experience in manufacturing, Versapak produce quality reusable pouches and bags which are trusted by many high-profile clients across the globe.
